The New England Team Presents Check to VOW in Louisiana
It was with great pride that several New England folks who worked on the VOW golf tournament and auction in May, officially presented the proceeds to the Voice of the Wetlands! It happened during the annual Voice of the Wetlands festival in Houma, Louisiana on October 10th.
Ray (Raybo) Harrison made a short speech to the festival audience and handed over the large check to Tab Benoit, who accepted it on behalf of VOW. Tab gave a heartfelt thanks to the New England team and those who participated in the May events. He held it up as an example of people around the country who care about Louisiana.
